In order to aid the Government’s efforts towards Swachh Bharat and Nal se Jal beside promoting the philosophy of sustainability, Foundation with the support of NHFDC and other international experts has made attempts to make available concessional loans to PwDs/families having PwDs, for developing inclusive toilets and safe drinking water facility in their household. A pilot is in progress in Ratlam and Jhabua Districts of Madhya Pradesh.

PwDs are scattered and most of them (70%) reside in the rural areas with restricted scope of education and employment due to mobility issues. Developing such facilities in their houses for easy access to toilets and drinking water will surely reduce their dependence on others and will take them further on the empowerment ladder readying them for economic empowerment.
