SAFE CABS
The Corporation has launched safe cabs in association with M/s Sakha Consulting Wings. The PwD owned commercial vehicle is driven by trained women drivers to provide safe commuting solution to the women, children and elderly persons in select cities.
The model creates avenues for sustenance of two persons (one PwD i.e. the Owner and the second i.e. woman driver from the weaker section). The vehicle is CNG fitted and hence safe for environment too.
The vehicle is financed by NHFDC to PwD entrepreneur at concessional rate of interest. The borrower becomes absolute owner of the vehicle after loan repayment.
At present, these cars are plying at Airports in Delhi and Indore (MP).
